How much weight will a Motorcycle Coaster® support?

The photo below (which appears on our website, MotorcycleCoaster.com), shows a Motorcycle Coaster® supporting 1,019 lbs. (462 kg).  In other words, that's a full half ton plus a few pounds!

 

The motorcycle pictured is a 2010 Honda GL Gold Wing, 1800cc (919 lbs.), loaded with 100 lbs. of cargo.

Jack snapped the photos of this old Indian motorcycle at Indian Motorcycles of Panama City Beach, Florida.  What caught his eye was that the bike, at one time in its history (1916), was registered as a Motor Bicycle in his home state of Illinois.
